He began his practice by calling attorneys listed in the Sullivan Law Review. Today his practice is focused on business owners, professionals, and top level executives.

Mike has earned numerous awards during his career, including the National Quality Award (1973-2008) and Million Dollar Round Table (Provisional Member 1972, 1974; Qualifying Member 1975-1978; Qualifying/Life Member 1979-1988, 1990-1995, 1997-2008).
Mike has been a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council since 1993. Beginning with a 6 year term on the Board of Directors, he's held various offices, including President (2002-2003) and Past President and Nominating Chair.
He is a member of the National Association of Life Underwriters, Chicago Association of Life Underwriters, a Board Member and member of the Fund Raising Committee - Kenilworth Union Church, and an advisor to the Theta Chi Fraternity.
Mike lives in Winnetka, Illinois, with his wife, Susan, and daughters Kristen, Caitlin and Kendra. He has climbed to the base camp of Mt. Everest and enjoys golf, snow skiing and platform tennis.
