Robert Muzikowski was presented with the Community Service Award during Northwestern Mutual's Annual Meeting of Network Representatives on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the company's headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A $10,000 grant was presented to Chicago Hope. Bob had this to say about Chicago Hope: "I am passionate about this school and it has been rewarding to see the impact we have had since we opened our doors in 2005." Bob is the founder of Chicago Hope Academy, located at 2189 W. Bowler Street in Chicago, which is a private, socially and racially integrated Christian co-educational life preparatory school." "Talented students with means are in the classroom and on the playing fields with talented students on partial scholarships. Everybody pays what they can," he adds. Chicago Hope Academy, which accepted 72 students into the high school program in 2005, will double enrollment this fall. Bob is also a past winner of the Community Service Award for his work with the Near West Little League. |
