McTigue Financial Serves Up Help for the Hungry
Members of The McTigue Financial Group were recently acknowledged in Spirit Magazine, for their efforts in volunteering to serve supper to the hungry and homeless at Catholic Charities' Tuesday Night Supper at 721 N. LaSalle Street. They helped Catholic Charities make sure that 130 adults, seniors and children had a warm meal.

Northwestern Mutual Financial Network Diversity Scholarship
In 2006, The McTigue Financial Group and the Northwestern Mutual Foundation established a scholarship to assist qualified, diverse students in pursuing their college education. The program seeks to demonstrate a commitment to cultivating the education and pre-professional efforts of diverse students. Scholarships are offered each year for students in their third or fourth year of college who are majoring full-time within the School of Business at selected accredited institutions.

The McTigue Financial Group is proud to announce the scholarship is available for 2007.

Lincoln Park Zoo
We are pleased to be a corporate sponsor of the Lincoln Park Zoo.

The 21st Annual Spring Benefit, Out of Africa was presented by The McTigue Financial Group. The evening featured dinner, dancing, a live and silent auction, and raffle. Proceeds benefited the Auxiliary Board Endowed Fund for Conservation and Science.

For 2007, The McTigue Financial Group will be the sole sponsor of The Run for the Zoo. The event will be called "The McTigue Financial Group Run for the Zoo."

2006 Beverly Hills Cycling Classic

The McTigue Financial Group sponsored the Beverly Hills Cycling Classic in Chicago on July 7, 2006.

Sanctioned by USA Cycling, the International Cycling Classic is now the oldest and longest-running multi-category cycling race in the United States with races in cities from De Pere in Northern Wisconsin to Chicago.

Community Service Award (CSA) Winners
Northwestern Mutual's Community Service Award recognizes representatives whose outstanding dedication to local organizations has significantly bettered their communities. Since its inception in 1995, the Community Service Award has contributed nearly $1.8 million to some 220 nonprofit organizations through July 2006.

Vision, generosity, and commitment to community are characteristics of people who become volunteers. Each award recipient is honored with a $10,000 check presented to his or her charitable organization on behalf of the Northwestern Mutual Foundation. The McTigue Financial Group is proud to acknowledge our representatives and team members who have earned this distinguished award.
